Eric G recalls the origin of NBADraft.net, how he got into player scouting, establishing his connectivity for the sport and how growing up in the Bay Area he experienced being a dubs fan through different eras (Run TMC, We Believe, The Dynasty), this conversation started in such an organic way filled with anecdotes that builds a connection fan to fan making me keen to know another dubs fan as an individual and not just as a fellow fan of the team. It also reflects how every fans' life shapes the kind of fan he is and how he looks at the team and fellow fans.

Rich has a way to drive the conversation that covers all the facets of the interviewee. For instance, Rich asks Eric about his French connection and French players in the NBA and the recent influx of Frenchmen in the NBA, I could clearly see Eric knows his stuff, gave such interesting insights and his eyes lit up speaking about the history of the Warriors draft. Recalls Don Nelson & Jerry West, gave them their flowers for the Dynasty and their underrated roles in Warriors history!

Dean is such a great complement in the conversation, he fills the gaps perfectly, never misses on the facts, stats and gives great insights. The conversation about how the draft pattern changed in the Warriors system recently and how the team had to consider a lot many things even when drafting high, giving the perspective as to how a top tier organization thinks while making personnel decisions. This made me think, wow I did not consider this, I did not factor in that, Okay they could have done this according to me but then it was not feasible. You don’t get that from a general “discussions” on Xitter but a place where people who actually consider themselves “the 19th man” on the roster more than a Fan! The whole James Wiseman saga was discussed and yet I did not see them throwing him under the bus, but objectively discuss how better that Pick could have been navigated, and as a fan that’s all I need, a healthy discussion which is respectful towards the players!

I attended this interview live and yet as soon as I saw it in the vault, clicking on it was a no brainer. As a fan, I want to get as close to a player as I can. Rich has made it possible with this epic interview of the Future of the team BPodz. Especially after he torched the Lakers today, I felt the need to dive deep into what it took for BP to become the player he is. Mr. John Podziemski is such an amazing gentleman and you can feel it from the way he spoke, the enthusiasm and spark while talking about Podz. Rich starts with how Podz was pissed after the Rising Star game and how his fellow players were not as competitive as Podz was and then Papa Podz recalls how he never just let BP win since he was 4. If that doesn’t instill the competitive spirit IDK what will!! Rich kept the energy and the flow of the conversation at the perfect rate and that brought out all the fun stories about Podz life. This vault has a way of filling the listeners with the positive vibes, that’s the purpose of this summit. Having access to the vault is like having the key to an endless supply of positivity. Expecting more of this in the Summit. 

I may or may not have gotten overboard with this but really thank you for the access to the vault man, best thing ever! You are a blessing sir... You have impacted my life in more ways than one. You have made me a better fan than I was in 2020, made me a compassionate human, I hope every person in the world is as amazing as you are!!!!
